Through my years as a Personal Trainer I have noticed there are five major fat loss movements which are guaranteed to boost your metabolism and burn more fat that any other movements out there.
2- Pull pattern
Exercises such as pull ups, chin ups, bent over rows and seated rows fall in this pattern. The pull pattern focuses on movements that work the big muscles in your back like your lats, traps and rhomboids. You will also find that your biceps and forearms will get a great workout from this pulling motion. Personally I added an inch on to my biceps in 7 weeks performing these exercises without doing one bicep curl. This increase was mainly due to the heavy pulling exercises I used within each workout.
Without further ado,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], let me introduce you to the five must do’s:
5- Core
I am not talking about crunches here. Exercises such as planks,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], mountain climbers, swiss ball jack-knifes, ab wheel rollouts, palloff presses and wood chops are great options. These exercises work to brace and stabilise your core muscles,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], strengthening your deep abdominal muscles. These exercises focus not only on your abs but on your arms, legs and your torso making them highly functional movements.

3- The single leg pattern
This could be exercises such as lunges, step ups, split squats and pistols, basically any exercise that involves one leg working at a time. Single leg exercises are not only fantastic for burning fat,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they are amazing for correcting any imbalances of the lower body, ultimately preventing injury.
1- Quad/Hip dominant pattern
Exercises such as squats,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], deadlifts and kettlebell swings fall under this movement pattern. All of these exercises will recruit over 600 muscles making them fantastic fat burning exercises. These exercises tend to be the most physically demanding of the workout, which is what makes most people avoid them. Don’t be most people. 4- Push pattern
We utilise exercises such as push ups, shoulder press,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], dips or bench press in the push pattern section. Again there are a ton of variations amongst all of this pattern,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], for example the bench press could be incline,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], decline, close grip, wide grip, dumbbell or barbell. The key is to work at getting strong with one exercise and once you begin to adapt then change the exercise (not the movement pattern)
Let me firstly clarify,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], these five movements are not five different exercises. There are many exercises that fit under each movement. Once you understand the movement patterns, you will easily be able to design a great fat loss workout.

I figure, if I overcame all of my physical,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], spiritual and psychological ailments, discovered how to run faster; jump higher; throw farther; look younger, stay up longer - manifest twice as much energy than I did when I was a "starting" NCAA athlete half my age - anyone can do the "undoable," too! Whatever it may be.
As I continued practicing, competing and following a disciplined conditioning program, something just short of magical happened. My personality sparked with a resurgence of charisma, confidence and boldness. My muscles grew stronger,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], my energy increased, the fat melted off my body and activity not only became easier, but quite enjoyable... I was living my best life as I had designed.

I promised myself I would return to play softball at a competitive level if it killed me. It almost did! By season's end, I had accomplished all three of these goals.
Playing both Tournament softball and in several leagues simultaneously is quite challenging - even in the so-called recreational leagues. It requires an incredible amount of stamina, strength, focus, concentration, capital and energy. The first week on the practice field followed a five year absence of anything that even remotely resembled exercise. Today,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], 37 months post accidents, I am 51 pounds lighter, at least 52 times brighter. I began enhancing my personal energy level three months shy of my 40th birthday and after 2 years of struggling with clinically-diagnosed depression. Reason Number One: Lousy Lawyering. Reason Number Two: Lousy Ex’s. Unfortunately there is only so much that the Court System can do to remedy the rift between you and your ex.
